COFFEE TIME!

 

Ten-thirty every morning is my time to take a break and make a coffee. I have a Sunbeam Cafe series machine, ideal for two of us and it makes really good coffee. I’m pretty proud of the results (currently using Allpress coffee which I grind just before use) so I simply had to visit Cafe Biz 08 recently at Randwick Racecourse. While the expos is over, you can still keep in touch with coffee news on the website or the very informative Cafe Culture Magazine.

Yes, I am biased. I know the founder, Sean Edwards, personally, but that only makes me more certain that he knows coffee inside out. He works as a consultant to baristas and cafes, so of course when I heard it was on, I had to attend the expo.

This was a good thing as I met someone else who is passionate about coffee, also happy to share his knowledge and expertise with others. John Doyle runs coffee training courses and classes for baristas and aspiring home coffee lovers. His Coffee Training Centre and his book Barista Techniques put frothy, fragrant coffee in everyone’s reach.

Think I’ll go and make some right now!
