While of course it is a marketing tool for the hotel chain – the ideal way to peek behind the scenes into hotel kitchens from Warsaw to Washington, Perth, Panama  and Prague, Moorea and Miami – the over 300 recipes themselves are what you would expect from such a prestigious  group of hotels.

These dishes use the finest produce and ingredients and while some have many steps (chefs like to do that it seems) there are many that are simple enough for the home cook. What you will notice, though, is that the presentation is immaculate, and this alone will give keen cooks many ideas. So, in this regard, it is very much a ‘do try this at home’ book.

However, it is one that may also have you checking the internet to make a booking for a meal or a room instead!
